  11. Under Executive 1.3 I did not manage to start Samplitude-SMPTE 2.1
  12. As soon as the "Midisys" window pops up, it freezes (no counting,
  13. no reaction to mouse) and Samplitude cannot even be started. This also
  14. happens when I set botj programs up to be ignored by Executive in E.prefs
  15.  
  16. This is a sad thing as all other programs seem to speed up with Executive!
  17. At least my A3000 FEELS to be a lot faster with Executive - even cpu-
  18. intensive tasks let me easily open and close windows, move my mouse an
  19. d start other programs. A great thing - if it was to function for samplitude.
  20. Maybe this is only another example for how systemunfriendly Samplitude is written.

  23. With audiolab I had no such problems under executive, neither with SoundFX.
  24. (Though audiolab tends to crash after some astonishing heavy light flickering
  25. of the hd-light, but that also happens with other progr. so it might be the
  26. fault of my system).
