- Under Executive 1.3 I did not manage to start Samplitude-SMPTE 2.1
- As soon as the "Midisys" window pops up, it freezes (no counting,
- no reaction to mouse) and Samplitude cannot even be started. This also
- happens when I set botj programs up to be ignored by Executive in E.prefs
-
- This is a sad thing as all other programs seem to speed up with Executive!
- At least my A3000 FEELS to be a lot faster with Executive - even cpu-
- intensive tasks let me easily open and close windows, move my mouse an
- d start other programs. A great thing - if it was to function for samplitude.
- Maybe this is only another example for how systemunfriendly Samplitude is written.

- With audiolab I had no such problems under executive, neither with SoundFX.
- (Though audiolab tends to crash after some astonishing heavy light flickering
- of the hd-light, but that also happens with other progr. so it might be the
- fault of my system).
